long does it take Network Solutions to complete domain registration?
It normally takes 2 or 3 days for a transfer to be processed
and for the whois.htm to be updated. Let us know if you do
not receive notification that a domain name has been either
registered or transferred within two weeks. In the meantime,
refer all concerns to Registration Services. You
can reach them by calling (703)742-4777 and selecting option
number 2 or you may write them at hostmaster@rs.internic.net
. Be sure to reference your NIC ticket number when contacting
either hostsiam or the InterNIC.
Whom
shall I contact regarding InterNIC billing?
hostsiam is not involved with InterNIC's billing procedures.
Questions regarding InterNIC Invoicing and Payment Procedures
should be referred to Registration Services. You can reach

1 or you may email them at hostmaster@rs.internic.net
.
Customers wishing to make payment by credit card may call
either (888)771-3000 or (402)496-9788 (outside the U.S.).
Can
I change my domain name?
Yes, you may. Changing a domain name consists of two parts:
- Registering another domain name with Internic. As it is
a brand-new domain, you will be charged the regular $70
fee from Internic.
- Notifying us of your request to replace the original domain
pointing to your site with the new one. You will not have
re-upload files or anything of that sort, but a $25 transference
setup fee is required.
To save any unnecessary concern, payments, or hassles, it
is best to be completely certain in regards to what your domain
name is.
How
do I change account billing frequency and mode of payment?
Send email to billing@hostsiam.com and specify
your changes.
How
do I update account contact information?
You can change your billing address and email address by
sending email to billing@hostsiam.com . If you have
a change of email address, be sure to reflect this new address
in your mail forwarding options. We suggest that domain users
also update the InterNIC database
since email is their preferred mode of communication.
Can I change my userid and password?
Your user id cannot be changed, since your entire
account is based on this username for internal use. This is
the unique identifier for your account and is what we use
to keep track of our hosting accounts. Your password, however,
can be changed at your request. Please send e-mail to billing@hostsiam.com or call 02-734-0800
to make alterations.
